\textit{Harmonic morphisms} are smooth maps between Riemannian manifolds pulling back harmonic functions to harmonic functions. The concept of harmonic morphism was established independently by Fuglede and Ishihara in the late 70s. Later on, Loubeau and Ou studied \textit{biharmonic morphisms} between Riemannian manifolds. These are maps pulling back biharmonic functions to biharmonic functions. The notion of \textit{triharmonic morphism} is established by Maeta in the last decade. Recently, Ghandour and Ou introduced the notion of \textit{generalised harmonic morphisms} between Riemannian manifolds. These are maps pulling back harmonic functions to biharmonic functions. In this paper, the authors unify all these notions by introducing the concept of \((p,q)\)-harmonic morphisms, which pull back \(q\)-harmonic functions to \(p\)-harmonic functions. The paper is very well written and is divided into nine sections, where particular cases are developed and several new examples are introduced.
