Let \(\mathbb{H}^n\) denote the \(n\)-dimensional hyperbolic space with sectional curvature \(-1\), \(K\subset \mathbb{H}^n\) a geodesically convex domain and \(W_n(K)\) (\(k=1,2,\dots, n-1\)) its quermassintegrals (cf. \textit{L. Santaló} [Integral geometry and geometric probability. With a foreword by Mark Kac. 2nd ed. Cambridge: Cambridge University Press (2004; Zbl 1116.53050)]). Let \(W_0(K)\) denote the volume and \(\mathcal{K}\) the space of all h-convex sets in \(\mathbb{H}^n\) with non-empty interior and smooth boundary. According to the main result of the paper, the inequalities \(W_k(K)\geq f_k \circ f_l^{-1} (W_l(K))\) are valid for all \(0\leq l< k \leq n-1\) and \(K\in \mathcal{K}\). Here, \(f_k\) is the function associating to \(r\geq 0\) the \(k\)th quermassintegral of the geodesic ball of radius \(r\), and \(f_k^{-1}\) its inverse. Moreover, the minimum of \(W_k(K)\) among the bodies \(K\) in \(\mathcal{K}\) with given \(W_l(K)\) is attained precisely by geodesic balls. Similarly, for \(0\leq l< k \leq n-1\), the minimum of the curvature integral \(V_{n-1-k}(K)\) is attained at a geodesic ball among all bodies \(K\in \mathcal{K}\) with fixed \(W_l\) (or volume, or area of the boundary, or \(V_{n-1-l}\) if \(k-l\) is even). In the proofs, the authors use a normalized generalized curvature flow, along which one quermassintegral is preserved and the other is monotone. The hypothesis of h-convexity is employed to show that this flow converges exponentially to a geodesic sphere.
