Let \((X,p)\) be a \(\theta\)-complete partial cone metric space in the sense of \textit{A. Sönmez} [``Fixed Point Theorems in Partial Cone Metric Spaces'', Preprint (2011), \url{arXiv:1101.2741v1}; ``On partial cone metric spaces'', Preprint (2012), \url{arXiv:1207.6766v1}] over a solid cone \(P\) in a normed space and let \(T:X\to X\). If there exists a linear bounded mapping \(L:P\to P\) with spectral radius \(r(L)<1\) such that \(p(Tx,Ty)\preceq Lp(x,y)\) for all \(x,y\in X\), then the authors prove that \(T\) has a unique fixed point \(x^*\in X\) and that, for each \(x_0\in X\), there is a subsequence of \(\{T^nx_0\}\) converging to \(x^*\). Some special cases are stated and some examples are provided.
