On the regularity of the Navier-Stokes equation in a thin periodic domain (Q872014): Difference between revisions

The non-stationary Navier-Stokes equations for an incompressible fluid satisfying periodic boundary conditions in a thin domain are considered. It is proved that if the initial datum satisfies some condition, then there exists a unique global smooth solution, corresponding to this datum.
