Let \(G\) be a finite group. There is an intensive research in finite group theory concerning the effect of certain subgroups on the structure of the whole group, such as in [\textit{A. Ballester-Bolinches} et al., Bull. Aust. Math. Soc. 79, No. 3, 499-506 (2009; Zbl 1184.20014)], [\textit{X. Chen} et al., Commun. Algebra 42, No. 10, 4188-4203 (2014; Zbl 1316.20013)] and [\textit{A. N. Skiba}, J. Group Theory 13, No. 6, 841-850 (2010; Zbl 1205.20027)]. The authors introduce the concepts of a generalized CAP-subgroup \(A\) of \(G\), namely, either \(A\) avoids \(H/K\) for each chief factor \(H/K\) of \(G\) or (1) If \(H/K\) is non-abelian, then \(|H:(A\cap H)K|\) is a \(p'\)-number for every \(p\in\pi((A\cap H)K/K))\); (2) If \(H/K\) is a \(p\)-group, then \(|G:N_G(K(A\cap H))|\) is a \(p\)-power; and of a \(\mathfrak U\)-embedded subgroup \(A\) of \(G\), namely, if for some \(K\)-\(\mathfrak U\)-embedded subgroup \(T\) of \(G\), \(HT=G\) and \(H\cap T\leq S\leq H\), where \(S\) is a generalized CAP-subgroup of \(G\). \(S\)-quasinormally embedded subgroups are also generalized CAP-subgroups, and generalized CAP-subgroups are \(\mathfrak U\)-embedded subgroups. The main result is as follows: A normal subgroup \(E\) in \(G\) is hypercyclically embedded if for any non-cyclic Sylow-subgroup \(P\) of \(E\) and some integer \(k=k(P)\), every \(k\)-intermediate subgroup of \(P\) and every cyclic subgroup of \(P\) of order 4 (if \(k=1\) and \(P\) is a non-abelian 2-group) are \(\mathfrak U\)-embedded in \(G\). -- A series of applications of the results are obtained, such as: Let \(\mathfrak F\) be a solubly saturated formation containing all supersoluble groups, \(E\) a normal subgroup with \(G/E\in\mathfrak F\). If \(E\) satisfies the above conditions then \(G\in\mathfrak F\).
