Properties concerning the Hadamard product of matrices related to \(M\)-matrices are discussed. The following conjecture is dealt with: If \(A\) is an \(n\times n\) matrix which is an inverse of an \(M\)-matrix, then \(A\circ A\) is an inverse of an \(M\)-matrix. Examples are given. Definitions of ultrametric matrices, generalized ultrametric matrices, unipathic matrices, the Willoughby inverse are given, and \(\alpha\)-matrices are characterized.
