M. Bordemann has studied algebras with non degenerate associative bilinear forms. Bordemann also introduced the notion and some properties of \(T^*\)-extension of an arbitrary algebra \(A\) (i. e. by its dual space \(A^*\)) then he focused his attention in the study of two particular cases: \(T^*\)-extensions of Lie algebras and \(T^*\)-extensions of associative algebras. In this paper the authors make a similar development but in the context of Leibniz algebras. Like in Bordemann's work, the authors introduce the definition of equivalence and isometrical equivalence for two \(T^*\)-extensions of a Leibniz algebra, and give a sufficient and necessary condition for the equivalence and isometrical equivalence.
