    Let \(R_{m,n}\) be the \((m,n)\)-Padé approximant with respect to \(\exp(- z)\), \(m+2\geq n\). The authors show that \[ | e^{it}- R_{m,n}(it)| \leq {{n!m!} \over {(n_ m)!(n+m+1)!}} t^{n+m+1}, \qquad t\geq 0. \]
