The authors compute the inverse of a specific \(r\)-dimensional matrix, generalizing matrix inverses given by Krattenthaler and Chu. As applications they derive some multidimensional \(q\)-series identities. Among these are \(q\)-analogues of Carlitz' multidimensional Abel-type expansion formulas, and a \(q\)-analogue of MacMahon's Master Theorem.
