Three kinds of asymptotics for the scattering phase for the Dirac operator on \(L^2({\mathbb {R}}^3;{\mathbb{C}}^4)\) are studied namely: (1) the high energy limit as \(| \lambda| \to\infty\) (\(c\) and \(\hslash\) being fixed), (2) the semi-classical limit as \(\hslash\searrow 0\) when \(c\) is fixed and \(\lambda\) is in a non-trapping compact interval and (3) the non-relativistic limit as \(c\to +\infty\) with \(\hslash\) and \(\lambda\) fixed. The results in the case (1) are proved by splitting positive and negative energies and by using Krein formula. In the case (2) it is exploited the \(h\)-decoupling property of the Dirac operator based on a Foldy-Wouthuysen transformation. For the last case it is shown that the order of regularity (with respect to \(c^{-1}\)) is independent of the decrease of the potentials (considering the smoothness of \(s_\kappa\) around \(\kappa=c^{-1}=0\)).
