Following ideas of \textit{F. Paganini}'s paper [Proc. 34th. IEEE Conf. Decision and Control, New Orleans, L. A., 1970-1975 (1995)], the authors study some different approaches (duality, basis functions, gridding) in order to obtain results for the robust \(H_2\)-performance of a plant with a prescribed uncertain component. An example is used to demonstrate the complementary nature of the mentioned approaches.
