The main contribution of this paper is the so-called spike-and-slab Lasso biclustering method. Using previous results by the authors, the proposed biclustering approach is able to effectivly find a sparse factorization of the data matrix. Two real datasets, a microarray dataset and a single-cell RNA-sequencing dataset, are employed to demonstrate the efficiency of biclustering to derive the interpretable solutions.
