This paper studies the unsteady free convection boundary layer at the stagnation point of two-dimensional and axisymmetric bodies with a prescribed temperature and a prescribed heat flux at the wall. The magnetic field is applied parallel to the surface of the body, and the effect of induced magnetic field has also been considered. The transformed boundary layer equations have been solved numerically for a range of parameter sets entering the problem. The authors have shown under other things that the skin friction and heat transfer coefficients increase with the increase of the applied magnetic field. In general, the skin friction and heat transfer for axisymmetric case are higher than those corresponding to the two-dimensional case. The paper is very well written, concise and readable. The subject matter would appeal to those interested in convective heat transfer and numerical solutions to the specific problems.
