This work is devoted to the study of applications of the finite element method (FEM) with interpolated coefficients to solve semilinear hyperbolic equations. The error is estimated, and the authors conclude that the convergence of the finite element method with interpolated coefficients for a semilinear partial differential equation of hyperbolic type is similar to the convergence of the classical finite element method.
