First, convergence results are proved for Cauchy principal value integrals of the Schönberg variation-diminishing splines and their derivatives. Next, these splines are used in the numerical solution of the Prandtl and generalized Prandtl integral equations. A Nyström-type method and a modified Nyström method are applied. Moreover, computational results are presented and compared.
