    Auf der Menge der \(m\times n\)-Matrizen über einem Körper sind verschiedene (teilweise) Ordnungen speziell mit Hilfe geeigneter Mengen verallgemeinerter Inversen definierbar. Verf. unterwirft derartige Definitionen einem einheitlichen Prinzip: Es sei \({\mathcal G}\) eine Abbildung, die jeder entsprechenden Matrix A eine Menge \({\mathcal G}(A)\) verallgemeinerter Inversen von A zuordnet. Die Relation \(A\leq^{{\mathcal G}}B\) wird dann dadurch definiert, daß mit geeignetem \(A^-\in {\mathcal G}(A)\) die Gleichungen \(BA^-=AA^-\) und \(A^-B=A^-A\) erfüllt sind. Es wird ausführlich untersucht, unter welchen Bedingungen diese und eine modifizierte Relation Ordnungsrelationen liefern, und für die bekannten Ordnungen werden die entsprechenden Abbildungen \({\mathcal G}\) angegeben. Schließlich wird die Möglichkeit der Aufspaltung in Links- und Rechtsordnungen untersucht [vgl. die Arbeit von \textit{J. K. Bahsalary} und dem Verf., ibid. 149, 73-89 (1991; nachstehendes Referat)].
