Positive solutions of a discontinuous one-dimensional beam equation (Q2045263): Difference between revisions

In this paper, a fourth-order beam equation with a discontinuous nonlinear term is considered. Some sufficient conditions for the existence and multiplicity of positive solutions are established by using a recent generalization of Krasnosel'skii's fixed point theorem in cones.
