The paper presents an algorithm for finding a common element of the fixed points set of a demi-contraction and of the set of solutions of a variational inequality with pseudomonotone operator in a Hilbert space. The convergence and the efficiency of the algorithm are discussed. Some illustrative numerical experiments are provided.
