This is a continuation of the author's earlier work on the line-closed combinatorial geometries [see Discrete Math. 65, 245-248 (1987; Zbl 0613.05014)]. Here the following two new results are presented: (i) For a line-closed combinatorial geometry G(X) all its single-point extensions are determined that are line-closed, and (ii) For a line-closed geometry H(X\(\cup Y)\) that is a smooth extension of G(X) a necessary and sufficient condition is given for every geometry between G and H to be line-closed.
