A weighted pointed curve consists of a nodal curve of genus \(g\) and \(n\) marked smooth points, each assigned a number \(0<a_i\leq 1\). Morevoer, a subset of the marked points may coincide if the sum of the corresponding weights is no greater than one and the curve satisfies certain stability condition. When \(a_1=\dots=a_n=1\), we get the traditional notion of stable curves. \textit{B. Hassett} [Adv. Math. 173, No. 2, 316--352 (2003; Zbl 1072.14014)] proved that for any given data \((a_1,\dots,a_n)\), \(g\) and \(n\) with \(2g-2+a_1+\dots+a_n>0\), the moduli space of stable weighted pointed curves is a Deligne-Mumford stack, smooth and proper over \(\mathbb Z\). The corresponding moduli scheme is projective over \(\mathbb Z\). In this paper, the author considers only curves of genus zero, whose moduli space is denoted by \(\overline{\mathcal M}_{\mathcal A}\). The author first identifies its combinatorial stratifications \(D_\gamma\) in terms of (weighted) trees \(\gamma\). Let \(Q_\gamma\subset \overline{D}_\gamma\) be the union of lower dimensional strata. In generalizing Kontsevich-Manin's and Losev-Manin's theorems, the homology groups are computed for arbitrary weight data \(A\): \(H_{2d}(\overline{\mathcal M}_{\mathcal A})=\left(\bigoplus_{\gamma|\dim_{\mathbb R}D_\gamma=2d} H_{2d}(\overline{D}_\gamma,Q_\gamma)\right)/\mathcal I_d\), where \(\mathcal I_d\) is generated by certain explicit principle relations among strata. The Chow groups are isomorphic to the homology groups. The method of proof relies on a study of the forgetful morphisms restricted to strata. The final proof is an induction by using the spectral sequence of the forgetful morphisms.
