    The authors introduce \(K\)-fusion frames as a generalization of two newly developed frames, fusion frames and \(K\)-frames. They give a deep discussion on the duality of \(K\)-fusion frames and explore the perturbation effects on these type of frames. Most of the proofs relies on equation 2.2 in Lemma 2.3 as a useful property of projections. The paper essentially details several important properties of \(K\)-fusion frames and exemplifies the results. In my view, although some of the results may be compared with the results in [J. Math. Anal. Appl. 333, No. 2, 871--879 (2007; Zbl 1127.46016); Appl. Comput. Harmon. Anal. 32, No. 1, 139--144 (2012; Zbl 1230.42038)] by \textit{P. Găvruţa}, they are strong and seem to be useful in forthcoming works. Reviewer's remarks: The following list contains some comments and suggestions: {\parindent=0.7cm \begin{itemize}\item[(1)] On page 9 of 26, Theorem 3.3, the line number 7 from the bottom, a ``\(\Gamma\)'' notion has been omitted before \(\{\pi X *_i W_if\}_{i\in I}\), i.e., \(\Gamma T^*_{\widehat W}f=\Gamma\{\pi_{ X^*_iW_ i}f\}_{i\in I}\). \item[(2)] On page 11 of 26, the line 2 from the top, since the defined Hilbert space is not necessarily real so it would be better to insert a norm notion and change to \(\|\sum^n_{i=1}\pi_{K^*W_i}f \|\to\infty\), \((n\to \infty)\). \item[(3)] On page 12 of 26, the line number 13 from the top, it would be better to define the notion of \(\phi_{vw}\) before using it in this definition. \end{itemize}}
