    Let \(T_1, T_2 : X \rightarrow X\) be two quasi-contractive mappings from a \(q\)-uniformly smooth Banach space \(X\) into itself, \(q > 1\). The authors consider a generalized Ishikawa-type iterative process of the form \[ z_n = (1 - \beta_n) x_n + \beta_n T_2 x_n + v_n,\quad x_{n+1} = (1 - \alpha_n) x_n + \alpha T_1 z_n + u_n,\quad n = 0, 1, \dots, \] with certain error terms \(u_n\), \(v_n\), and prove its global convergence to a common fixed point of the mappings as well as its stability. For \(T_1 = T_2\) this unifies and improves earlier results in the literature.
