Monoidal structure of the category of \(u^+_q\)-modules. (Q1874300): Difference between revisions

The author studies the half-quantum group \({\mathfrak u}_q^+={\mathfrak u}_q^+(\mathfrak{sl}_2(\mathbb{C}))\) at a root of unity, whose order is different from \(2\) and \(4\). The principal objects of study are finite-dimensional \({\mathfrak u}_q^+\)-modules, the action of which is extendable to an action of the whole Drinfeld-Jimbo quantum group \({\mathfrak u}_q\). Such modules are completely classified. Further, for such modules the author obtains a Clebsch-Gordan type formula for the decomposition of the tensor product of two indecomposable modules. It is also shown that, despite of the non-quasi-commutativity of the Hopf algebra structure, the tensor product of the extendable modules commutes. Finally, it is shown that simple modules of non-maximal dimension for \({\mathfrak u}_q\) correspond exactly to the indecomposable extendable non-projective \({\mathfrak u}_q^+\)-modules. This allows one to establish a decomposition formula for the tensor product of simple \({\mathfrak u}_q\)-modules.
