The author studies the question of the Lyapunov irregularity of a one-parameter family of linear systems of ordinary differential equations with piecewise continuous and bounded matrix function of coefficients of the system, that is \[ x' = \mu A(t) x, \phantom{aa} t \ge 0, \phantom{aa} \mu \in \mathbb{R}. \tag{1} \] He describes completely the structure of the set of parameters \(\mu\) for which the system (1) is irregular, showing that (1) is irregular if and only if \(\mu \in G_{\delta, \sigma} \backslash \{0\}\), for some \(G_{\delta,\sigma}\)-set. The obtained result solves the problem, posed by N. A. Izobov, and is significant.
