On longtime dynamics of perturbed KdV equations (Q2352268): Difference between revisions

An analytic perturbation \(u(.)\mapsto f(u)(.)\) of the Korteweg-de Vries eqaution \(u_t+u_{xxx}-6uu_x=\varepsilon f(u)(x)\), \(x\in\mathbb T\), is studied. Under assumptions that \(\int_{\mathbb T}u(x,t) dx=0\) and that the equation has an \(\varepsilon\)-quasiinvariant measure, the solution \(u=u^\varepsilon\) has the actions \(I(u^\varepsilon(.,t))\) approximated by solutions of an averaged equation -- if the initial data are typical (w.r.t. that quasiinvariant measure). These results extend the work in [\textit{H. Guan}, Nonlinearity 26, No. 6, 1599--1621 (2013; Zbl 1291.35285)].
