Hermitian structures on cotangent bundles of four dimensional solvable Lie groups (Q2472323): Difference between revisions

The authors investigate left invariant generalized complex structures on solvable Lie groups of dimension 4. First, it is proved that there is a one-to-one correspondence between the left invariant generalized complex structures on a Lie group \(G\) and the invariant Hermitian structures on the cotangent bundle of \(G\). Then, in case \(G\) is a 4-dimensional solvable Lie group, it is proved that \(G\) has neither left invariant symplectic nor complex structures, if and only if, \(G\) does not admit generalized complex structures. Finally, it is given an example of a 6-dimensional (non-nilpotent) solvable Lie group admitting neither left invariant symplectic nor complex structures, but carrying generalized complex structures.
