It is well known that rational modifications of the weights of the Chebyshev polynomials of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th kind lead to orthogonal polynomials (OPs) which are Bernstein polynomials. These can be written as linear combinations (of the underlying Chebyshev polynomials) with fixed length and constant coefficients. In this well written paper the authors show 1. The only classical OP for which the OP connected with a rational modification can be written as a linear combination of fixed length and constant coefficients are just the four kinds of Chebyshev OPs. 2. There exist non-classical OPs such that certain non-trivial linear combinations of fixed length with constant coefficients give rise to new OPs.
