The author presents the completely integrable Poincaré-invariant generalization of the well known Toda system. The Lax matrix for the system in question is build and is shown to have a positive and simple spectrum. An explicit description of a flow generated by the Hamiltonian that equals the trace of the Lax matrix is given. In particular the coordinates of the system under this flow are proved to be described by the same formula as in the nonrelativistic case. The action-angle variables are constructed in a fashion similar to the nonrelativistic case and their limit expressions are investigated for the case when the speed of the light is taken to infinity. In conclusion of the paper some further questions are discussed: 1) invariance principle for scattering by the Hamiltonian mentioned above, 2) dual systems, 3) the Lax pair formulation for the Hamiltonian flows, 4) generalized Toda systems associated to the root systems of some Lie algebras etc.
