There are two notions of regularity in fuzzy neighborhood spaces [\textit{R. Lowen}, Fuzzy Sets Syst. 7, 165-189 (1982; Zbl 0487.54008)] so far introduced; one by the reviewer [Pure Math. Manuscr. 4, 97-106 (1985; Zbl 0612.54005)] herein called \(A\)-regularity and the other \(N\)- regularity by the authors. It is shown here that \(A\)-regularity is equivalent to \(N\)-regularity. Moreover, the authors prove that a fuzzy neighborhood space is \(N\)-regular if and only if its \(\alpha\)-level topologies [\textit{R. Lowen}, J. Math. Anal. Appl. 64, 446-454 (1978; Zbl 0381.54004)] for all \(0<\alpha<1\) are regular.
