    Motivated by the work [\textit{T. C. Collins} et al., Commun. Anal. Geom. 27, No. 3, 529--597 (2019; Zbl 1422.53057)] on non-compact curves, the authors generalize the Corlette-Donaldson theorem in [\textit{K. Corlette}, J. Differ. Geom. 28, No. 3, 361--382 (1988; Zbl 0676.58007), \textit{S. K. Donaldson}, Proc. Lond. Math. Soc. (3) 55, 127--131 (1987; Zbl 0634.53046)] to non-compact manifolds under certain conditions. The authors list the following two assumptions for a Riemannian manifold \((M,g)\). {Assumption 1}. There is a function \(\phi:M\to \mathbb{R}_{\geq 0}\) with \(\phi\in L^1\), such that if \(f\) is a non-negative bounded function on \(M\) satisfying \(\Delta f\geq -B\phi\) for a positive constant \(B\) in distribution sense, we have \[ \sup_Mf\leq C(B)\left(1+\int_Mf\phi \, \mathrm{dvol}_g\right). \] Furthermore, if \(f\) satisfies \(\Delta f\geq 0 \), then we have \(\Delta f=0\). {Assumption 2}. It admits an exhaustion function \(\rho:M\to \mathbb{R}_{\geq 0}\) with \(|\Delta \rho|\in L^1\). The main result of the paper is the following: {Theorem}. Let \((E, D)\) be a vector bundle over a (not necessarily compact) Riemannian manifold \((M,g)\) equipped with a connection \(D\) and a metric \(K\), we have: \begin{itemize} \item[(1)] Existence: if assumption 1 is satisfied, \(D\) is flat and \(K\)-analytically stable such that \(|(D^*_K\psi_K)^{\perp}|\leq C\phi\) for a constant \(C\), then it admits a Poisson metric \(H\) with \(\mathrm{det} \, h=1\), \(|h|\in L^{\infty}\) and \(|Dh|\in L^2\) for \(h=K^{-1}H\); \item[(2)] \(K\)-analytically stability: if {assumption 2} is satisfied (or \((M,g)\) being complete with finite volume) and \(D\) is irreducible such that \(|D^*_K\psi_K|\in L^1\), then it admits a Poisson metric with the property in (1) only if \(D\) is \(K\)-analytically stable; \item[(3)] Uniqueness: if {assumption 1 and 2} are satisfied (or \((M,g)\) being complete with finite volume) and \(D\) is \(K\)-analytically stable such that \(\mathrm{tr}D^*_K\psi_K\in L^1\), then any Poisson metric with the property in (1) is unique. \end{itemize}
