The authors study \(o\)-bounded and Rothberger-bounded topological groups. They give internal characterizations of \(o\)-bounded and Rothberger-bounded topological groups in all finite powers. In the metrizable case the authors give characterizations of topological groups having these properties in the terms of measure-theoretic properties relative to left-invariant metrics. Among metrizable \(\sigma\)-totally bounded topological groups the authors characterize the Rothberger-bounded topological groups by the corresponding game.
