Fixed point and common fixed point results in cone metric space and application to invariant approximation (Q2343405): Difference between revisions

The authors extend some fixed and common fixed point results of \textit{M. Arshad} and \textit{J. Ahmad} [``On multivalued contractions in cone metric spaces without normality'', Sci. World J., Math. Anal. 2013, Article ID 481601, 3 p. (2013; \url{doi:10.1155/2013/481601})] for multivalued mappings in cone metric spaces, under \(H\)-cone metric, using so-called almost contractions. Some invariant approximation results are obtained as applications.
