The authors study the global well-posedness and exponential stability of some possibly large system of 1+1 nonlinear Schrödinger equations with component-wise power-type nonlinearity. One of these equations enjoys a damping by an imaginary zeroth order term. The equations are coupled in the sense that each component of the solution should have the same value at the vertex of the network. Moreover, the solution is required to satisfy Kirchhoff's circuit law at this vertex. The analysis is based on a reformulation of the initial value problem as a system of integral equations, which is classical. Strichartz estimates are used to derive global well-posedness (Corollary~3.4), and the damping mechanism is needed for the proof of exponential stability in the cubic case, which is the most difficult argument in the paper. Some comments: Quite often the reformulation as an integral equation contains one and the same typo: \(\int_0^T\) should be replaced by \(\int_0^t\), for instance in (3.2) or (3.15). Unfortunately, no argument is given why the continuity condition (1.3) and Kirchhoff condition (1.4) are preserved as time evolves. This should also lead to restrictions on the initial data \(\varphi\) that are covered by the authors' analysis. It is not clear how to interpret Kirchhoff's condition (1.4) given that \(u\) is not proved to be differentiable anywhere, let alone in the pointwise sense at \(x=0\). In particular, the network-specific aspects are ignored and the proof of well-posedness essentially repeats the arguments a 1+1 nonlinear Schrödinger equations that are nowadays well-understood.
