The author studies the non-degenerate endomorphisms of \(M_n(\mathbb{D})\), where \(\mathbb{D}\) is a division ring, and completely determines the general forms of all the non-degenerate endomorphisms for non-commutative and for commutative \(\mathbb{D}\)'s.
