Let \(M\) be a compact Riemannian manifold and \(T^2_{\theta}\) a family of the two-dimensional tori indexed by the real numbers \(0<\theta\leq 1\) acting on \(M\); the isospectral deformation \(M_{\theta}\) of \(M\) has been introduced by \textit{A. Connes} and \textit{G. Landi} in [Commun. Math. Phys. 221, No.~1, 141--159 (2001; Zbl 0997.81045)]. The author of the paper under review proves that the periodic cyclic cohomology groups of the algebra \({\mathcal A}_{\theta}\) of the smooth functions on \(M_{\theta}\) and the group \(K_0({\mathcal A}_{\theta})\) do not depend on the deformation parameter \(\theta\). It is also shown that the associated spectral triple \(({\mathcal A}_{\theta}, H, D)\) is regular and its dimension spectrum is independent of \(\theta\).
