The paper deals with the horizontal limiting measure of the zeros of Gaussian analytic functions (GAF) defined on a horizontal strip in the complex plane with translation invariant distribution. The author proves a theorem that guarantees the existence of the horizontal limiting measure of the zeros of GAF, and asserts that it is not random if and only if the spectral measure is continuous or consists of a single atom. In addition, the author develops a general Edelman-Kostlan-type formula for computing the average zero-counting measure of zeros of a symmetric GAF in some domain and proves a counterpart of the theorem for a natural class of GAF which have a symmetry with respect to the real axis.
