The paper provides formulas for the first variations of integral curvature invariants under 1-parameter variation of the metric. The invariants are obtained by pairing a characteristic form coming from an \(\mathrm U(n)\)-invariant polynomial of the curvature with a power of the Kähler form. The result is an integral which does not depend on the derivatives of the curvature -- a result well known for the Pfaffian form on Riemannian manifold. The paper extends it to the Kähler case.
