    Soon after the paper [\textit{P. Balmer}, J. Reine Angew. Math. 588, 149--168 (2005; Zbl 1080.18007)] on support for tensor triangulated categories appeared, several authors noticed the connection with Stone duality via Hochster dualaity [\textit{A. B. Buan} et al., Math. Z. 295, No. 1--2, 395--426 (2020; Zbl 1505.18020); \textit{J. Kock} and \textit{W. Pitsch}, Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 369, No. 1, 223--261 (2017; Zbl 1373.18008)]. More recent work focuses on support for triangulated categories, without assuming a tensor product, or at least without assuming it to be symmetric [\textit{P. Balmer} and \textit{P. S. Ocal}, ``Universal support for triangulated categories'', Preprint, \url{arXiv:2308.10815}; \textit{S. Gratz} and \textit{G. Stevenson}, Adv. Math. 425, Article ID 109073, 44 p. (2023; Zbl 1523.18012); \textit{H. Krause}, Int. Math. Res. Not. 2023, No. 22, 19773--19800 (2023; Zbl 07795006); \textit{V. M. Mallick} and \textit{S. Ray}, C. R., Math., Acad. Sci. Paris 361, 1415--1427 (2023; Zbl 07811807); \textit{D. K. Nakano} et al., Am. J. Math. 144, No. 6, 1681--1724 (2022; Zbl 1517.81071)]. This paper exhibits these ideas without claiming any originality.
