Let \(M\) be an \(m\)-dimensional smooth manifold with \(H^1(M;{\mathbb R}) = 0\), \(g\) a pseudo-Riemannian metric of signature \((p,q)\) and \(\nabla\) be a torsionfree connection on the tangent bundle \(TM\). The triple \((M,g,\nabla)\) is said to be a Weyl structure if there exists a smooth \(1\)-form \(\phi\) on \(M\) so that \(\nabla g = -2\phi \otimes g\). Let \(\rho\) be the Ricci tensor associated to \(\nabla\) and \(\rho_a\) the alternating Ricci tensor defined by \(2\rho_a(x,y) = \rho(x,y) - \rho(y,x)\). Let \(J_-\) be an almost pseudo-Hermitian structure on \((M,g)\) and \(J_+\) an almost para-Hermitian structure on \((M,g)\). The quadruple \((M,g,\nabla,J_{\pm})\) is said to be a Kähler-Weyl structure if \(\nabla J_\pm = 0\). It is known that any Kähler-Weyl structure is trivial if \(m > 4\), thus assume \(m = 4\). Let \(\Omega(x,y) = g(x,J_\pm y)\) be the Kähler form. Define \(\Lambda^2_{0,\mp} = \{\theta \in \Lambda^2 : J_\pm\theta = \mp\theta\;\text{and}\;\theta \perp \Omega\}\) and \(\Lambda^2_\pm = \{\theta \in \Lambda^2 : J_\pm \theta = \pm \theta\}\). Then there are isomorphisms \(\rho_a : L^2_{0,\mp} \to \Lambda^2_{0,\mp}\) and \(\rho_a : L^2_\pm \to \Lambda^2_\pm\). The authors consider the geometric realization problem for elements in the representation space \(\Lambda^2_{0,\pm} \oplus \Lambda^2_\mp\). Let \((V,\langle \cdot , \cdot \rangle,J_-)\) be a \(4\)-dimensional Hermitian vector space of signature \((0,4)\). The authors prove that every element of \(\Lambda^2_{0,+} \oplus \Lambda^2_-\) is realizable by a \(4\)-dimensional Hermitian Lie group, that is, by a \(4\)-dimensional simply connected Lie group with a left-invariant integrable complex structure and a left-invariant Hermitian metric. Similarly, let \((V,\langle \cdot , \cdot \rangle,J_+)\) be a \(4\)-dimensional para-Hermitian vector space of signature \((2,2)\). The authors show that every element of \(\Lambda^2_{0,-} \oplus \Lambda^2_+\) is realizable by a \(4\)-dimensional para-Hermitian Lie group, that is, by a \(4\)-dimensional simply connected Lie group with a left-invariant integrable para-complex structure and a left-invariant para-Hermitian metric of signature \((2,2)\).
