In this paper, the authors study a topological conjugacy problem for a class of piecewise monotone and continuous one-dimensional maps. By considering the non-monotonicity height as one of the invariants, the main result is to construct other invariants so that the topological conjugacy problem can be determined. The used technique is conventional in functional equations for functions of one variable.
