The authors continue their study of Weyl type theorems and related properties for bounded linear operators on complex Banach spaces. In the paper under review, they introduce and study a new related property, called \((R)\). They characterize this property in several ways and describe its relationships with variants of the classical Weyl's theorem. Furthermore, they study property \((R)\) in the framework of polaroid type operators.
