This paper examines the mathematical properties of a quantity fundamental in analyzing the performance of a particular scheme used in wireless communications. The scheme, known as direct-sequence code-division multiple-access, currently in use, effectively handles many users by taking into account the manner interference interacts when a particular user's information is being decoded. Sections are divided into Introduction, Basic tools, Proof of Theorem 1.1, Proof of uniqueness, Convergence of iterations, and Question of uniformity.
