The authors study the non-gap sequences at points in plane curves with only ordinary nodes as singularities. The study is realized at those smooth points which are of total inflection type, that is, the intersection between the tangent line and the curve has index \((d - 2)\), where \(d\) is the degree of the curve. The main results are the existence of pairs \((\Gamma, P)\), where \(P\) is a total inflection point on a plane curve \(\Gamma\) as above, so that the non-gap sequence have a precise description.
