The paper has derived equations, describing the spectral problem of steady-state vibrations of a transversally isotropic semicylinder with a free and smooth boundary. The problem is presented in the form of a beam of self-conjugated unbounded operators in the Hilbert space, and its solvability is proved by introducing one lemma and three theorems.
