The authors turn their attention to the Gaussian map of a double cover. They make a cohomological study of the Gaussian map for double covers of smooth projective toric variety, and, in particular, for the case of Hirzebruch surfaces. In general, they focus on cohomological analyses for divisors, not on geometrical aspects.
