Let \({\mathcal H}\) and \({\mathcal K}\) be Hilbert spaces and A: \({\mathcal H}\to {\mathcal K}\) a densely defined closed linear operator. The author considers iso- spectral perturbations of the operators of the form \(H_ A=A^*A\) by perturbing A as \(A+B\), where B: \({\mathcal H}\to {\mathcal K}\) is a linear operator. Two classes of B are defined giving essentially iso-spectral perturbations of \(H_ A\). The obtained results are applied to Schrödinger operators.
