The authors of this paper study constacyclic codes over \(R=\mathbb Z4_[u]/\langle u^2-1\rangle\) where the constant is a unit in the ring. They show the generators of these codes for odd length that provide cyclic codes of double length over \(\mathbb Z_4\) using a Gray map. This gives some nice examples of MDR codes.
