Suppose that the potential \(u(x) \in C^\infty (\mathbb{R})\) produces an infinite discrete spectrum \((\lambda_0 < \lambda_1 < \cdots < \lambda_n < \cdots, \sum^\infty_{n = 1} \lambda_n < \infty)\) of the Schrödinger equation \[ \psi_{xx} + \bigl( u(x) + \lambda_n \bigr) \psi = 0, \] and its scattering data \(\{k_n\}\), \(\{\varphi_n\}\) satisfy certain conditions, the asymptotics of \(u(x)\) and the solution of an infinite system of Riccati-type ordinary differential equations are derived. An application to the long-time asymptotics of the solution of KdV equation with Cauchy condition is considered.
