In mathematical analysis, the Favard constants, also called the Akhiezer-Krein-Favard constants, of order \(r\) are defined as \[ K_r=\frac4\pi \sum_{k=0}^{\infty}\Big(\frac{(-1)^k}{2k+1}\Big)^{r+1},\; r\in\mathbb N,\tag{1} \] and \[ \tilde K_r=\frac4\pi\sum_{k=0}^{\infty}\frac{(-1)^{kr}}{{(2k+1)}^{r+1}}\,\; r\in\mathbb N\setminus\{0\}.\tag{2} \] In this paper the author establish new recursive formulae for the Favard constants (1), including only a finite number of terms, and new recursive formulae for (2). The authors also state that such formulae are useful in the study of some singular integrals and in the summation of some series.
