Techniques of symmetry operator method are applied to the following differential systems: the Dirac equation in 2D algebra; two systems that are based on splitting the Euler-Tricomi and the heat equations; the Dirac wave equation, and a generalization of the Cauchy-Riemann system for $n=3$. The symmetry operators are then classified by their action on polynomials. For the symmetry operators that raise the order of polynomials a commutative and associative property is pointed out.
